​In a small kitchen in Brymaroo, Queensland in the Easter of 1976, Jennifer Timm a dairy farmers wife and mother of 5, began making Candy Easter Eggs for her own and extended family and friends. In a time of drought and despair, Jennifer dabbled with the idea that maybe making these eggs would create more income to support her family. Jennifer started selling her candy eggs to the local corner stores, then to the larger convenience stores. As word spread of her famous candy eggs, so did her business. In 1990 Jennifer and husband Kevin took over Lismore’s 22 year old family owned  business, Stargift Confectionery Australia, moving the business and family to a larger establishment in a small Country town just west of Toowoomba.

These days the Timm family pride themselves in producing the highest quality and consistency of Candy Easter Eggs on todays Australian market by using Jennifer’s (aka Great Grandma Timm) original family recipe.
